Want a challenge for the summer holidays? Why not register for the WA Premier’s Summer Reading Challenge?
The Challenge is open to all Western Australian children, from Kindergarten to Year 7, and it features some awesome books, including Takeshita Demons! YAY!
What do you have to do?
Children in Kindergarten to Year 3 are challenged to read for 10 hours during the summer holiday – which is less than 10 minutes each day. Children from Year 4 to Year 7 are challenged to read for 15 hours – less than just 15 minutes a day.
What can you win?
If you participate in the challenge, you could go in the draw to win heaps of awesome prizes including:
