YAY!! The first review for Monster Matsuri is in, and it’s from none other than Julia Eccleshare, a guru of children’s literature and children’s editor at the UK’s Guardian newspaper. YAY!!

“As with the author’s two earlier Takeshita Demons titles this is a fast-paced, compulsive read that appeals to a wide audience; children as young as 8 or 9 through to adults.

Each of the titles is a standalone read but the characters in the three are consistent.

Manga style illustrations throughout complement the story brilliantly.”

All I can say is HOORAY! 🙂 I know we shouldn’t put too much faith in reviews…different people have different tastes and read different things and etc.

But I can’t help it. Because some reviews make me want to dance hippy-happy hornpipes up and down the beach 🙂
