I’m running several writing workshops for the Victoria Park Centre for the Arts in Victoria Park (great for parent pick-ups and drop-offs: a few minutes walk from cafes, shops, library and more). These classes include workshops for young writers as well as, ehem, older writers (like myself :-))

FOR YOUNG WRITERS

WRITE THE BOOKS YOU LOVE TO READ (8-12yrs).

Starts: Monday February 11, 4-5 pm. Cost: $100 for 6 weeks.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY WRITING WORKSHOPS

DAY OF WRITING DANGEROUSLY  (8-12yrs)

A full-day workshop, dates to be determined based on your interest and availability (please email me to register your interest: cj@cristyburne.com). The workshop will run 9.30am-4.30pm. Cost: $100 for the day.
Create your own cliffhanger stories. Fire up your imagination and get ready to write.

FOR ADULTS

WRITING CHILDREN’S BOOKS (For Beginners) 
Dates: Dates to be determined, based on your interest and availability. This is a full-day workshop and will run from 9.30am-4.30pm. Cost: $100 per day
Full-day beginner’s workshop. Everything from first lines to final contracts.

WRITING CHILDREN’S BOOKS (Advanced)
Starts: Monday February 11, 7.00-8.30 pm. Cost: $150 for 6 weeks.
Join a small class of writers-in-progress. Share your work, pick up great tips, practice new techniques, discover publishing markets.
