The 2013 heARTlines Festival of Children’s Literature and Illustration wound up on 14 July 2013. It’s been terrific!

We’ve seen hundreds of kids and had so much fun. A highlight for me was learning I could draw, thanks to workshops with illustrators Wendy Binks and James Foley. Now I realise: it’s true! Everyone can draw (although I’m mostly expert at emus and vikings :-))
